Weekend Away

At the beginning of July, my boyfriend and I went away for the night in a lovely little village just a few miles away from Great Yarmouth. This pretty place was called Winterton-on-Sea, It done us both good to get away from the small place that we live in and to just have a breather. The 'every day, same routine' takes its toll on every one, and we are no exception to the rule. Whilst we were there, we just ate some great food, drank some alcoholic beverages (who doesn't on getaways?), went for some mini-hikes, went in to town and went to the Sealife Centre, and happened upon an American Muscle Car Meet - a dream come true for us both as we adore Mustangs! This is a very picture-heavy post with very little writing, so continue on looking if you're interested.

Urban Decay x Alice Through The Looking Glass Palette.

If anyone out there is in to beauty and has any knowledge of Urban Decay, there's next to no chance that you could have missed the hype about this limited edition collection that was released recently. As with all Urban Decay products, this lives up to every UD fans expectations and doesn't disappoint. The revolutionary UD have teamed up with Disney in order to create an eyeshadow palette in celebration with the new Alice in Wonderland film that is released later on this month - Alice Through The Looking Glass. Within this gorgeous palette, there are 20 brand new shades that have been created in honour of the film, that also pay tribute to some of the main characters from the up-coming sequel. So, let me get on to show you the amazing design and thought that has gone in to creating this beautiful palette, and show you some of the trippy and gorgeous colours that are fit for the Mad Hatter.

Day Out at Colchester Zoo

I love writing about beauty related things, don't get me wrong, but I also thought it was about time that I bring you some more lifestyle related posts. I don't get out very often (and when I do, I usually forget to take any photos) but this time, I have a little bit of content to share with you from a recent day out. Over the weekend, my boyfriend, my brother, and myself all went to Colchester Zoo as I have been wanting to take my brother there for so long. I intended to do it over the summer last year, but never actually got round to doing it. So whilst he was on half-term and I happened to have the day off, I seized the chance to take him.  Let the brief information and heavy-animal-photos content commence.

Cruelty-free Lipstick Collection

This post is a very new kind of post for me to write, as I have never been a massive fan of lip products. In all honesty, I've never strayed away from your bog-standard chap-stick. But during my absence from the blog, I feel like I have been going through a phase of upping my make-up game slightly. And even more so since I've found so many awesome colours from amazing brands that also happen to be cruelty-free. I've had my little stash sitting around for some time now, just sitting there waiting for a post to be written about them. So, if you're like me and you like extraordinary colours that aren't what you would normally see many people wearing, keep reading and I shall introduce you to these little gems.

Arctic Fox Hair Colour.

I finally got my hands on some of the brand that I've been dying to try; Arctic Fox! It's been a long time coming, so I'm finally going to introduce you to this brand if you haven't already heard about it. I went for two different colours as you can see above, and brought the smallest size to sample at first. And as you may know, I'm a major fan of bright coloured hair, so of course I went for bright colours. I have fallen in love with this brand as I predicted I would, let me explain to you why.
