Mini Avon/Clothing Haul.

I haven't been going exactly crazy with my money lately, it's actually been spent quite wisely. There are more posts to come on this, once I've got the photos and whatnot, but for now, this will do. As I mentioned a little while ago on my Instagram, I ordered a few things from Avon. I can't resist. Some of their stuff is so beautiful. Luckily, it's January and most places have sales on, so I saved money on what I brought.

All of the stuff featured above is from Avon and was all in the sale brochure, all for under £5 each, which is pretty good considering what they were priced at originally!

As you can see, I didn't buy too much, I was quite good this time round and I resisted buying anything new for any bath or shower purchases. I brought a Avon True Colour eyeshadow quad which was called Skyline or something along those lines. This was £5 and the photos don't show it well but the colours are very pigmented and shimmery, apart from the black. The colours are all numbered from 1-4 too, which makes it easier to see where to put the colours in which area of your eye. This is particularly helpful if you are a smokey eye beginner like myself. It also comes with a cute little eyeshadow brush. Next to that, I brought an Instant Repair 7 hair mask. Apparently it has 7 benefits, but it doesn't state anywhere what they are, so I'll just have to see what it does. But I'm guessing the usual; repair, protect, shine, etc. I've been needing a hair mask for a while now and whilst this was on sale for around £3-£4, I thought why not give it a go. Next to that, I have a pair of eyelash curlers, an eyeshadow brush and a makeup sponge. Like with the hair mask, I'm pretty sure these were all around £3-£4 too, so why not. I've never used eyelash curlers, so I'm looking forwards to seeing what a difference these make to my eyes. I brought the eyeshadow brush, just in case the eyeshadow quad didn't come with one. I've seen a lot of different bloggers using these and I was wondering what all the hype was about. So I thought I'd grab myself one and try it out and see what a difference it makes to my makeup routine.

Thought I'd just separate the two, if you were wondering what that was all about. I haven't brought enough clothes recently to do just a clothes haul on it's own, so I'll throw my minimal pieces in here. Two new pieces, I have two.

I finally gave in and brought myself some Drop Dead jeans. I've been wanting some for years and I've just been putting it off because I've never had the money. But this month, I got paid a little bit more than usual due to my temporary job role (go me) and it was in the Flash Sale that they're currently doing... So why not? I got the Signature Mark II jeans, which were meant to be £60 (I know, holy crap) but they were £16! And they had my size left, so why not! I got these in a UK size 10 and I'm really hoping they'll fit. If not, then I've gotta get my ass exercising, because I refuse to just have these sit in my wardrobe after all the years of adoring the jeans on the website. The images were taken from the Drop Dead website.

The top underneath is from a lovely little site called Olive & Frank. I recently stumbled upon them after watching Amy Valentine and checking out her blog and videos, and I saw her wearing this. I just love the 'Back when I cared' bit, it pretty much sums up my attitude to life sometimes. I just had to have it. It was also in a sale for £18, down from £28. It is a little bit pricey, but it's already become my favourite thing to wear, so I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of it. It's such a lovely material and the little flecks all over the top are adorable speckles or reds, yellows and greens. I don't own anything else like this, and it's just so comfortable. I went for a Large, but I probably should have gone a little smaller due to the fit. It's not a crop top, but it's not a full length top either, it's basically just baggy at the bottom and it shows a little bit of stomach when you move. Nothing excessive. I got it larger than I needed because I didn't want to spend my money on something that's so nice and get the wrong size and be disappointed, so I played it safe and went larger. It's baggy, which is fine because I prefer baggy tops. I just love it. The first picture was taken from the Olive & Frank website, the second was taken by me and is on my Instagram @nnnicoleb.

I hope you liked the post! Have to brought anything from the mentioned places? If so, what did you buy and think about it?

Nicole x
